Protecting Pollinators, Cultivating Change

At Yorkshire Apiaries Ltd, we are driven by one purpose: to protect and support pollinators through ethical, sustainable beekeeping. Our work goes beyond keeping bees—we are educators, advocates, and stewards of biodiversity, empowering individuals to understand, respect, and protect these essential creatures.
Our hives are carefully cultivated, ensuring that every colony thrives in an environment designed for their health, resilience, and natural behaviours. We promote responsible beekeeping and conservation, always placing bee welfare above production.
Through community outreach, workshops, and educational initiatives, we inspire others to take action in preserving pollinators and their habitats.

Every jar of honey, every beeswax product, and every sponsorship is a symbol of our commitment—not the goal itself.

A Dream Unfolding

The Journey & Vision – A Dream Taking Flight After three years of careful planning, learning, and sheer determination, Yorkshire Apiaries Ltd is finally taking flight. Nestled in the tranquil heart of Wormley Hill, Yorkshire, our apiary is not just a business—it’s the fulfillment of a dream built on a profound admiration for honeybees and a commitment to creating positive environmental change. Founded by Sharon Green, a dedicated beekeeper passionate about sustainable and ethical practices, Yorkshire Apiaries embodies a respect for traditional beekeeping, balanced with a willingness to embrace new ideas that enhance pollinator health. By learning from a nationally recognised beekeeping community, Sharon refines her craft through experience, knowledge-sharing, and deep respect for the natural rhythms of the hive. This ensures that Yorkshire Apiaries always operates with integrity, purpose, and an unwavering focus on pollinator welfare. Our vision is to build a thriving network of education, conservation, and community engagement—where people can come together to support pollinators, nurture ecosystems, and celebrate the beauty of ethical beekeeping. Together, we can create a future where honeybees flourish, biodiversity is safeguarded, and sustainability becomes second nature.
