Seeking New Homes for Our Busy Bees in Yorkshire!

Calling all Yorkshire landholders! We're on the lookout for new, peaceful spots to place some of our growing bee colonies, helping us expand Yorkshire Apiaries and further support local biodiversity.

As you know, our bees are central to everything we do. For our new apiary to thrive, we need more ideal locations for our hives. We're specifically seeking unused private land that is:

• Sunny ☀️

• Sheltered from strong winds 🌬️

• Reasonably undisturbed by foot traffic or loud noises 🤫

• Has good access to diverse pollen and nectar sources (think wildflowers, blooming trees, and hedgerows) 🌸🌼

Take a look at the map below! We're particularly interested in locations just inside, or preferably outside, this radius to ensure our bees have plenty of fresh foraging grounds and aren't competing for resources. This is especially important when we create hive splits as they won't then try to return to their previous hive.
